District Management Services
RIZZETTA & COMPANY provides District management services
to 128 Community Development Districts in 21 counties
throughout the state of Florida. Being a special purpose
unit of local government and therefore a public entity,
the ongoing administrative requirements of a District
are very similar in nature to those of a city or county.
As part of the management services Rizzetta & Company provides,
we conduct meetings of the Board of Supervisors, maintain all
District records, publish notices for all meetings
and public hearings, perform all state required filings
and reporting and coordinate the bidding process for
all District construction and services contracts as
required by Florida law. The District management staff
also prepares annual operations and maintenance budgets
and holds public hearings for approval and adoption.
In addition, the District manager is responsible for
the oversight of all maintenance functions for District owned
facilities and properties.
ADMINISTRATION - Conduct board meetings, publish notices,
record and distribute minutes, maintain District records
and files and perform all other administrative functions
necessary for efficient District management.
RECORDING SECRETARY - Record, transcribe and distribute minutes from all Board of Supervisors meetings and public hearings. BUDGETING - Assist in the preparation of the District's annual operations and maintenance budgets.. MAINTENANCE - Coordinate activities of third party maintenance providers and oversee maintenance functions for common areas and facilities. COMPLIANCE - Ensure that District is in compliance with state filing requirements, legal publications of all meetings, notice requirements, guidelines for bidding for services and public disclosure requirements. |
