Mr. McKay serves as Director of Corporate Compliance and Administration for Rizzetta & Company, Inc.
Previously, he handled all aspects of commercial development both for the company portfolio and third party owners including land acquisition, financial analysis, office leasing and ongoing property management for multi-tenant properties.
Mr. McKay started with Rizzetta & Company, Inc., in 1999 as Director of District Financial Services. He was responsible for certain aspects of District establishment, including preparing financial analysis, providing
District feasibility studies and providing expert testimony at establishment and bond validation hearings. In addition, he was responsible for District financial reporting and compliance functions. Mr. McKay's previous CDD experience includes developing allocation methodologies for over 90 Community Development Districts throughout Florida, preparing and certifying annual assessment rolls, and collecting short-term bond pre-payments.
Mr. McKay has over 30 years of experience in commercial banking, real estate development and public accounting. Prior to joining Rizzetta & Company, Inc., he was part of the consulting practices of a national and a local public accounting firm and participated in a variety of financial advisory consulting, litigation support and auditing engagements, including bankruptcy, lost profits analysis, troubled company cash flow, business valuations and mergers and acquisition analysis. In addition to real estate, his industry experience includes healthcare, marketing and agriculture.
Mr. McKay received a Finance degree from Auburn University and an Accounting degree from the University of South Florida.
Mr. McKay is a member of the Management Committee of the Urban Land Institute, Tampa Bay where he serves as Treasurer and is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Henry B. Plant Museum where previously served as Treasurer.
